Sri Lanka Needs Our Support
Raising $100,000 to purchase urgent neonatal drugs, devices & equipment
We are seeking your help to purchase urgently needed neonatal drugs, devices and equipment to support the hospitals in Sri Lanka.
Our collaborators supporting this activity consist of community and professional associations and well-wishers from Australia and New Zealand, the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka, and the Sri Lankan Medical Association.
Our program partner, Rotary International, World Community Service, Australia, (District 9685) will provide financial management including provision of tax deductibility and disbursement of funds to purchase items prioritised.
Your support will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions for many in desperate need. Funds for "Save a Dream" are collected under the Rotary project "Sustainable Community Development Programs in Sri Lanka & India". All donations made to Rotary Australia Overseas Aid Fund over $2 are tax deductible.
We are a group of Sri Lankan-Australians responding to the current political and economic crisis by raising funds to purchase essential drugs, devices and equipment.
Whilst our views may differ on this unfortunate situation, Sri Lankans living all over the world have a duty to rise to the occasion in its time of need, and unite to support our family and friends.
Over the years, in collaboration with community organisations in Australia, we have raised funds for humanitarian issues including the 2004 tsunami and floods affecting Sri Lanka (2017), Victorian bushfires (2019), and COVID-19 affected communities in Australia and Sri Lanka (2020 to date).

This collective body provides a platform for other Sri Lankan Victorian community organisations to unitedly work under one banner.
Through the generous efforts of all the organisations and individuals involved, our holistic, pragmatic and transparent approach has produced rewarding outcomes
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change.
